The Anti-Snare Poaching Wilderness Excursion is focused on introducing students to the concept of wildlife poaching, the different types of poaching and help them gain an understanding of the threat posed by snare poaching (in particular) to South Africa’s natural heritage.
During the Anti-Snare Poaching Wilderness Excursion, students will be accompanying the KaiNav Conservation Foundation research team on a field survey, to monitor, record and remove poachers’ snares, becoming a vital part of the snare poaching research team.
Excursions are currently on a ’on request’ basis. To book, you must email or call the team. Contact details can be found on the website.
