About this project

This project has been Community Verified by Lizet from aWanderFoodWorld

Waste in the Hague’s water is a major problem with negative consequences for livability and the environment.

To prevent all this litter from sinking to the bottom and breaking down into smaller and smaller pieces of microplastic, the Municipality of The Hague and kiteboardschool.nl are joining forces again by organizing the SUP campaign for the third time.

You can go out on a SUP board for free on Wednesdays or Saturdays from the beginning of May until the end of September. While you’re out for a paddle, you can pick up any litter you might see using the cleaning equipment provided.

A fun outing where not only is the water made waste-free in a relaxing and effective way, but you can also see the city from a different perspective.

This project runs from May to September.
